Darcie Moore is the recipient of an NIH Director’s New Innovator Award for High-Risk, High-Reward Research. Her project is titled “The Mechanisms and Functional Role of the Asymmetric Segregation of Cellular Cargoes in Stem Cells.”
This program supports “unusually innovative research from early career investigators.”
It is an honor for Dr. Moore to be granted this prestigious award; only 59 such awards were made. These awards will fund highly innovative, high-impact biomedical research.
