The Department of Neuroscience would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest faculty member, Dr. David Herzfeld.
Herzfeld received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He then served as a post-doctorate fellow at Johns Hopkins, followed by Duke University.
Herzfeld’s research focuses on how neural circuits perform computations that support motor control and other cognitive processes.
