Assistant Professor Dr. Darcie Moore was recently published in the eBook, “Rising Stars in Neuroscience: Profiles of eight up-and-coming scientists looking to push boundaries and tread new paths in neuroscience research,” by The Scientist.
Dr. Moore was one of eight ‘Rising Stars’ chosen by the publication, which featured her laboratory’s work on investigating asymmetrical inheritance during neural stem cell division.
Interviewed by Scientific Technical Editor Niki Spahich, PhD, Moore discussed topics ranging from the influence of vocal performance training on her scientific career to the new horizons her research may take regarding neural stem cells and aging.
